The Longest Journey
[Lyn Dynasty] Mordechai Lyn
Lord in Scarlet, Bearer of the Lyn Warrant of Trade, Lord Captain of the Adrasteia
Bearer of the Lyn Warrant of Trade, Lord Captain of the Cruiser Adrasteia, Lord in Scarlet of the Dreaming Court upon Malfi, the King of Di and Rong upon Aryus One, Hereditary Marque of the Crystal Gardens upon Scintilla
The Lord of Scarlet is a strikingly handsome man appearing as if he is in his early thirties though his real age is not known. Lyn isn’t exceedingly tall, standing rather at middling height, and has a rather soft and delicate physic with slender limbs and a dexterous way about him. He is every inch the Malfian noble, soft marble skin that would be the envy of many a courtesan on his native world and lines both sharp and regal. His choice of apparel further compliments his physic, usually featuring simple yet pleasing doublets in soft silken or velvet fabrics, sleeves slashes and with high collars that frames his long neck. He also favour an intricately carved chestplate made to be both lightweight and sturdy with a faint silver sheet to the alloy. He also commonly wears a wide cloak in sharp, iridescent scarlet. Lord Lyn’s face is sharp and attractive, with soft well-shaped lines and sharp angles. His slightly sunken cheeks are hidden by the sharp line of his jaw and the slightly pointed chin, his nose especially sharp and hawkish. His hair, which hangs straight and shoulder long, is soft as velvet yet thick and strong in a deep chestnut colour speckled with lighter strands of brown. These colours are also present in his smartly kept beard which circles a narrow mouth with full lips. Completing this handsome face is a pair of calm almost lazy eyes in a warm amber colour that closes on burnished yellow. His eyes are however… faintly unnerving, for while calm they seems to shimmer with a hidden smile, a faint mocking laughter which suggests that the Lord of Scarlet knows.
Much like his appearance suggests Lord Mordechai Lyn is a malfian noble born and breed, as polite, attentive and intelligent as any man could hope to be. He has a somewhat lazy way about him, a calm that puts others at ease and makes one feel as if anything can be shared with this man. There is also something of the mystery about him, the distant humour in his golden eyes and the smallest smirk gracing his lips. He makes for pleasant company and while he may appear a light-hearted socialite few are stupid enough to underestimate the intelligence which lurks in his eyes.
None to little at all is known of the mysterious Lord in Scarlet.
