The Longest Journey
The Cestelle Alliance
The Cestelle Alliance is one of the Calixis Sector’s largest financial organizations and has formally been recognized as a “Great House”. The Alliances origin is the agri-world of Regulus whose natives were given rule over their own planet and allowed to form their “alliance” on the basis of their extremely efficient production and organization practices. Having later spread to several other agri-worlds in the Hazaroth Sub-sector the Cestelle Alliance is by now in control of several of the most productive agrarian worlds in the Calixis Sector.
As well as producing and dealing in basic foodstuff and water from a variety of worlds the Cestelle Alliance also deals in and sell other “basic” resources such as agrarian tools, power cells, earthmovers etc. They hold major contracts with the largest hive worlds in Calixis, such as the capitol Scintilla and others like Solomon, with the Imperial Guard and Imperial Navy as well as millions of other more minor groups including some Rogue Trader dynasties. This last connection is one that has recently grown in importance with the opening of the Koronus Expanse and the many daring expeditions into it.
Still keeping some of their old traditions from Regulus members of the Cestelle Alliance usually carry tribal tattoos and in the case of more important members the tattoos are elaborate and intricate affairs. They also keep their ancient practice of burning their dead.
